abcdefg Posted January 14, 2018 at 03:11 AM Report Posted January 14, 2018 at 03:11 AM This morning I'm running into trouble posting photos. It was working normally yesterday. Receive warning messages that look like this: And this: I'm not trying to upload large files. Most are about 100 kb each. It appears to apply even when starting new topic entirely, such as this one attempted just now. Is this a new policy (I hope not), or is something broken? Thanks for looking into it. Quote

abcdefg Posted January 14, 2018 at 07:55 AM Author Report Posted January 14, 2018 at 07:55 AM @edelweis -- I didn't realize there was an attachment limit. Is that a weekly limit, a monthly limit, a lifetime limit, or what? Could you please clarify? I have a couple other travel features on Jianshui almost ready to post if it is permissible. Both have lots of photos. Quote
edelweis Posted January 14, 2018 at 11:15 AM Report Posted January 14, 2018 at 11:15 AM I don't know. I guess @roddy can give you more space if you've reached the limit. Quote
abcdefg Posted January 14, 2018 at 10:43 PM Author Report Posted January 14, 2018 at 10:43 PM Thanks, I will send him a message and ask. Quote
imron Posted January 15, 2018 at 01:28 AM Report Posted January 15, 2018 at 01:28 AM The problem is that in addition to a maximum image size, there is a maximum total uploads for all users and you have now hit that limit. Which is why it worked the other day but not now (because you still hadn't hit that limit yet). @roddy should be able to hook you up with more space. 1 Quote

I've sent Roddy a message to ask. I would like to continue contributing China travel articles from time to time and China living articles from time to time (mainly food, cooking and tea.) These tend to work best if they include photos. Quote
imron Posted January 15, 2018 at 02:31 AM Report Posted January 15, 2018 at 02:31 AM Indeed. I'm sure roddy and I are not the only ones who enjoy your posts (and accompanying pictures) on these topics. Quote
