ashuapmushuan Posted January 16, 2018 at 05:54 PM Report Posted January 16, 2018 at 05:54 PM I am planning on studying in the undergraduate program at Middlebury this coming summer. I was wondering about other people's experiences with the program. Likes and dislikes? Advantages and disadvantages? Most of what I know about the program so far comes from the facilitators themselves, and I would really like to know some more honest opinions. Quote

Meng Lelan Posted January 16, 2018 at 07:00 PM Report Posted January 16, 2018 at 07:00 PM Granted, that review I wrote of the Graduate Summer Program for Chinese, applies only to the graduate school level. I did not like that program at all. I do remember undergraduates there seemed to like the undergraduate program though. Quote
ashuapmushuan Posted January 16, 2018 at 07:11 PM Author Report Posted January 16, 2018 at 07:11 PM I actually found your review quite helpful. I understand a lot of your critiques. Do you think that the issues you had with the overall program to be symptomatic of the Graduate Program specifically? Quote
Meng Lelan Posted January 16, 2018 at 08:32 PM Report Posted January 16, 2018 at 08:32 PM I spent 99% of my time in the Graduate Program and only 1% of my time observing and interacting with the undergraduates, so yes to your question. Which is why I am not planning to come back. Quote
