Pengyou Posted February 4, 2018 at 05:23 PM Report Share Posted February 4, 2018 at 05:23 PM I am looking for an android app that has great dictionary resources and also lets me click on a button and save the word that I just looked up into some kind of spaced repetition flashcard system. Is there such a thing? I have read through many descriptions and not found this.
ilande Posted February 4, 2018 at 05:30 PM Report Share Posted February 4, 2018 at 05:30 PM Pleco does this. I'm surprised you haven't heard of it since it seems like the most popular dictionary software by far.

ilande Posted February 4, 2018 at 05:38 PM Report Share Posted February 4, 2018 at 05:38 PM You can add a word to your flashcards by pressing the "+" button at the top, when inside a dictionary entry. The flashcard system itself can be found easily from the menu. It's very easy to use and add new cards, so it should be right up your alley. Do you have the free or the paid Pleco? I don't know if there are differences with regards to this functionality, but it's well worth paying for the full flashcard module and one or more of the better dictionaries. Pleco also stores a history of every word looked up whether you add the word to your flashcards or not.
