Chinese Rap

As many of you know Rap after getting huge attention through the Show 中国有嘻哈 Chinese Rap has now fallen in political disgrace. But I don't think that this can stop the rise of Rap in China. 

I myself was first sceptical but after listening to VAVA's song 我的新衣 I really started to like and listen a lot to Chinese Rap.

Recently I wrote a small article in which I present the good Chinese Rap Artists I've found. It goes from the Mainstream Higher Brothers and VAVA to the Old School Rap Group 隐藏 Hide.

Whats the deal with all these guys rapping in Sichuanhua?  I guess Chengdu is kind of the centre of Chinese rap?

Yeah, eventho the first groups came from Beijing, the rap "capital" is now Chengdu. But you can find rappers from every province. The youtube channel zchong.tv is really great to find new ones.
