Ignore user function

Does the ignore user function not work? It says "not allowed to ignore that member" regardless of who it is.

it was disabled by the admins last year.

The ignore system is turned off, but there may be some links to it here and there - if you spot one let me know and I'll remove it. 

 

If you want the ignore system turned on... I'm not completely opposed to it, but I'm not keen on the idea. If more than a couple of people want to ignore someone, I'd rather look at what that person is doing and see if it's a problem for the site. If only one person wants to ignore someone - then they can't be that bad. Just don't respond. You'd still see others responding to their posts anyway.

I am weak and since the ignore list is disabled I have been using foxreplace to add reminders for myself. Don't bait X, don't get upset at Y, and so on. Not perfect but useful for me.

I find I am perfectly capable of ignoring users by myself, not that I have ignored anyone by design.

Some of us have disabilities and need crutches to achieve what other people can do without even thinking about it.
