Why do so few foreigners choose China as a holiday destination?

Incidentally that was another one of those stories I had seen where they warn Chinese people of their safety in Europe. Don't open the door to strangers! was one of the warnings. Later on I may post this article if people are interested I will dig it out. (it was not a topic I did with a tutor though)

Thanks, yeah I agree. Is hard to form an opinion from the few times I visited.

Although I do struggle to see a long term future in China as often I have this nagging feeling that other countries are simply "better,". That's not a critism, just an observation on my part. Is hard to argue against clean air, lack of rights as a foreigner, ongoing visa issue etc
