phbriggs Posted August 13, 2005 at 12:51 AM Report Posted August 13, 2005 at 12:51 AM Nanjing is a great place. It is probably my favourite city in China. There is a reasonable sized expat community in Nanjing (both students and business people). See this recent post on the TTT There is heaps to see and do in Nanjing, food is great, and is centrally located in China for holidays. Also, has not been yet been spoilt by foreign travellers. The only real downside is the summer are hot and humid, but reasonably short (June - mid Sept). Basic information on Nanjing can be found on the travelchinaguide.com Quote
outcast Posted August 13, 2005 at 10:24 PM Author Report Posted August 13, 2005 at 10:24 PM Thanks. I also took a look at your website from when you were teaching in China. I've only been able to read some of your journals so far (today the PDF's seem to timeout before they are finished loading), but I found them very interesting. Do you ever think about going back to China to teach more? Quote
