Both of those terms refer to the forbidden city, which is just north of Tian'anmen square, and 故宫 is the more commonly used phrase to refer to that.

 

天安门广场 is the Chinese for Tian'anmen square.

故宫 is also an abbreviation used to refer to the National Palace Museum in Taiwan.
