Handwriting software for Chinese input (Simplified)

Beyond the Windows handwriting feature, are there any other software packages that allow handwriting  to text input in Simplified Chinese?

Does Wacom have its own software? I seem to remember it does, but I'm going back several years...

To be honest I haven't used it for years, modern computers have made it fairly redundant. I didn't know Windows 10 had that feature, it is seriously making me think about upgrading to 10.

 

Does it not work very well? or is there another reason to want find something else?

I was trying to use the handwriting feature on a touch screen laptop, and it's a bit awkward to use.  Each time I want to write out a character or sentence, I have to select the field, and then select the handwriting function.  I would prefer if the handwriting function were automatically set to activate, similar to the typing input.  I will continue to look.  Maybe the Windows 10 feature has options that I've missed.
