New Members vmaier Posted April 27, 2018 at 04:50 PM New Members Report Posted April 27, 2018 at 04:50 PM Hi guys, So I've been learning for about 6 month now to prepare to take HSK1 and recently decided to take a look at same sample tests and I was surprised to see that the sample tests I've seen use a lot of non-HSK1 vocabulary! Is this the case in the 'real test'? Quote
pan.kasper Posted April 27, 2018 at 05:50 PM Report Posted April 27, 2018 at 05:50 PM well, there is no one final list for HSK vocabulary, generally each website shows you slightly different words. When I was preparing for HSK3 I had to memorise around 700 words altogether Quote
mungouk Posted April 29, 2018 at 02:30 AM Report Posted April 29, 2018 at 02:30 AM Hi @vmaier and welcome to the forum. There is a standard list of vocabulary which can be found at http://www.chinesetest.cn/userfiles/file/HSK/HSK-2012.xls Various websites and flashcard decks do exist out there which deviate from this, however. All the tests include words not being tested at that level, often using characters that you will already know. Quote
