Hasan Posted May 1, 2018 at 12:37 PM Report Posted May 1, 2018 at 12:37 PM Last year, I took a history course and for my paper I chose the topic ‘Chinese diaspora in Pakistan.’ The research was extremely difficult because of non-availablity of material and resources or prior research on the topic. Still I managed to score an A-. The thing which I was particularly interested to find out but was not really able to get hold of, was the People who were originally Chinese, adopted Pakistan as their home and became Pakistani nationals and further migrated to Western countries. Although I am done with the paper and hopeful of grabbing a CSC scholarship for 2018, I still want to know about such people or families, out of curiosity and maybe to further improve my research. If you are or if you know any such Chinese-Pakistanis who are now Chinese-Pakistani-Americans, Chinese-Pakistani-Canadian, Chinese-Pakistani-Australian, Chinese-Pakistani-British or anywhere else in Europe or anywhere other than Pakistan. Those who have moved back to China will be of my interest. It’s seems to be a long shot but still what’s the harm in trying? Unfortunately, I was not aware of the forum while writing the paper. Quote
