MOFCOM scholarships 2018

I re applied to Huazhong University, and from their portal, I am admitted, and under my passport size photo, I now have the 201/202. They also emailed me that tey crosschecked with MOFCOM and that I was really approved by them. What is the second step then? I havent got any communication email from ECCO..... Fingers crossed....

Also still waiting for my results. Good luck everyone. I think CSC comes out earlier than MOFCOM. CSC should be out by now and MOFCOM mid- August.

@HenryUfomba Is the mofcom recommendation from ECCO  a necessary and sufficient condition that you by all means get the scholarship? Or it's just a necessary condition but not sufficient?

@Ronnie2 I heard for MOFCOM it is necessary but for CSC ones they are not. Hope you were issued one! The reason for this is that the recommendation is huge and MOFCOM scholarship is more political/ diplomatic I think (usually for gov officials).

@SezMe Yes I had a Recommendation letter early last month. But I haven't heard anything yet and my status on the school's portal is still on Approval.

Hi all, i want to ask is necessary for an applicant to be a government employee? Am a fresh graduate just graduated this summer of June 2018, i wonder if that fact will affect my application. 

I got the Ecco office recommendation.

@South wind the considerations varies from one country to another... In my country Tanzania, the applicant MUST be a government employee to apply for MOFCOM Scholarship

@South wind it varies indeed. In my country,  Malawi, they take both a majority are civil servants.
