abcdefg Posted May 4, 2018 at 11:36 PM Report Posted May 4, 2018 at 11:36 PM Well done, @Zeppa -- looks like a good dish. Is that one of the famous new(ish) well-seasoned woks that you cooked it in? Hope it is working out OK. Quote
Zeppa Posted May 5, 2018 at 09:17 AM Author Report Posted May 5, 2018 at 09:17 AM @abcdefgThis was the second wok I bought. It had the same coating as the first one, but the instructions were better so this time I did not start by burning on the coating. It seems fine. For years I had a wok, but when I moved here I got rid of it. I used to be careful to oil and dry it, but it didn't look as nice as these carbon steel ones. I wonder if it was aluminium, but then it wouldn't have risked rusting. I had to start cooking more seriously after I bought the cai dao. It looks like one of the ones Kamelion showed, but I don't know which number. @LiMo Yes, I was very excited when I found the one in Stratford. This must have been three or four years ago. I went through the Centre a couple of times to the cinema at the back. The theatre used to be very famous too. There must be other Chinese food shops around, though. 1 Quote
