GabrielaVD Posted July 25, 2018 at 07:58 PM Report Posted July 25, 2018 at 07:58 PM Hi everyone! I just wanted to know the experience of people who have already gotten the Chinese scholarship (through embassy) for masters degree. Two years ago I applied for language and I was granted the scholarship, next year I would like to apply for a masters degree, but Im a little nervous because I dont know if getting the same scholarship for a masters is more difficult or something like that. In my country, Mexico, there seemed to be fewer language students being awarded the scholarship and most of the recipients are masters, but Im still a bit nervous about getting it. Can someone share their experience, or tell me what they think matters the most for applying sucessfully (maybe job experience, a high chinese level, things that I could work on until next year). Also, another doubt I have is if its true that there are some masters programs that CSC does not cover completly? I heard from a friend who got the scholarship for BeiDa in an english taught program he had to cover most of the program´s cost, since english taught courses were around 70,000 yuan, and chinese taught courses around 25,000 yuan, does anyone know anything about this? I would appreciate any help regarding this topic. Quote
