I always have 肠粉 when I visit Hong Kong or Guangzhou. Never tried it with bitter melon and chicken. Was it served with a sauce or gravy? It was wrapped in 腸粉,similar to how shrimp is wrapped inside. This was the first time I saw it on the menu - and it's a dim sum place I've been going to for a while. I wonder if it's because 苦瓜 is really in season now, or somehow we're getting a lot in California. I always enjoy that cuisine. So many brilliant combinations of flavors, lots of them gentle.
