New Members Bao Tran Posted August 18, 2018 at 09:14 AM New Members Report Posted August 18, 2018 at 09:14 AM Hello, I was just wondering if I can pass a HSK3 test with the total score higher than 180 but the score of one skill is lower than 60? Some say I can't, some say I can. I have seen some cases of having one skill lower (57 or even 40) but they could still passt the test. Can someone explain the myth? Thank you very much. Quote
edelweis Posted August 18, 2018 at 07:58 PM Report Posted August 18, 2018 at 07:58 PM @Bao Tran The official website only mentions the 180 points thing. http://www.chinesetest.cn/userfiles/file/dagang/HSK3.pdf see pages 4 and 29. However, the people that you show the certificate to (for admission to a course for instance) may have their own requirements. 1 Quote
Apollys Posted August 19, 2018 at 05:12 PM Report Posted August 19, 2018 at 05:12 PM From Wikipedia (though its authoritativeness on this topic is certainly not guaranteed): Quote There is no minimum amount of points required for each of the sections as long as the sum is over 120 or 180 points respectively. 1 Quote
