Hello, I ended up getting a tatto with the chinese characters "勿忘初心"  I ended up getting it in a challigraphy style. I wanted to see what you guys thought of it. The reason I got something like this is to remember my original purpose/desire/dream that I had when I was young. I'll attach a file. This isn't my first tattoo but my second. I do like it and can read it as I have lived in China myself. Just wanted to get what your thoughts on it. All my Chinese friends said they like it and think it's a good tattoo

This question is like when all your friends and family tell you you're good at singing because they like you…

Your tattoo is fine and has no mistakes. It is in a modern font that is probably loosely mimicking the late qing style of running script calligraphy at best, but is a computer font and obviously not based on any model scripts from famous calligraphers.

The popular 不忘初心 has been changed to 勿忘初心 to give the phrase a more literary feeling.

Hopefully your tattoo will encourage you to keep studying

I'm still not a fan of Chinese character tattoos, but you did alright. The font may be a computer font, but it looks nice and well-executed. It's good that you can actually read the phrase you got.

This looks very familiar... didn't you already post about this in the last couple of weeks?

Or maybe I'm going senile/becoming psychic.

@mungouk I forgot my password to the previous account and no longer had access to the email on that last one. I e-mailed one of the administrators about it when I created a new account. I was able to recover the e-mail address to it. It was a hassle
