Hello,

I have several ceramic pieces with what appear to be Chinese characters on them. If these are Chinese characters, can someone translate them for me?

Thank you!

I noticed there is flash glare in some of the photos. Let me know if it's too difficult to translate because of that, and I'll retake the photos. Thanks!

Photo 1: 乾隆年制 Made during the reign of emperor Qianlong of the Qing dynasty. (This does not necessarily mean it was actually made during that time.)

Photo 3: 中国景德镇 [Made in] the city of Jingdezhen in China. (A place traditionally famous for its pottery. In this case, odds that it was really made there are a bit higher.)

The other two photos are also of Chinese writing, but it's seal script, which I am not very good at reading.

Hi Lu, I found this when researching the other two marks. It matches photo #4 (when flipped upside down). Thought I'd post in case you were curious. Thanks again for translating 1 & 3!

Good searching! In that case, number 4 also says 'Made during the reign of emperor Qianlong of the Qing dynasty'.
