Dave Posted August 22, 2005 at 06:12 PM Report Posted August 22, 2005 at 06:12 PM Dear Friends I am going to China, to teach, in a public school, they guarantee me the ability to change my turist visa in a working visa. The question is I am buying an air ticket leaving on August and returning next year by mid June (this way I save in next years trip, expecting skyrocketting petrol prices), to apply for your tourist visa you must show your ticket reservation along with photo, and passport, plus that nasty 20 questions form. How do I explain to the Chinese authorities at the Embassy such an unusual ticket? All feedback welcome! Quote

phbriggs Posted August 23, 2005 at 03:28 AM Report Posted August 23, 2005 at 03:28 AM This is what most teacher do (have 10-12 months from entry to exit). If you are worried, just provide information on you arrival flight (a itinerary is okay). They will not need to know exactly when you will be departing. Quote
