@timacroYes, Chengdu is better than Beijing (that is my point, in case you missed the sarcasm), but still I don't think it qualifies as a "low-pollution" city.

Well, Actually I got it and did feel not so happy. Otherwise I won't said that with sarcasm too. I  recommend Chengdu not because it's the better choice, but because it is in a period of rapid change. Everything is getting better. We can't rewrite about the painful past. It's pointless to just complain. I'm just happy to see the changes in the environment and equality of opportunity. That's it.  Any way,  you can also see the remarkable improvement in air quality in Beijing in recent years, and they are happening almost all over the country, isn't it?  I have no intention of arguing about a mistake of the past or refute you,  just optimistic about the future.
