New Members gwap0 Posted February 2, 2019 at 06:21 AM New Members Report Posted February 2, 2019 at 06:21 AM Hello everyone! I receive a job offer for China. I am a Hepatitis B carrier. My Liver function are normal and my Hepatitis is non-reactive , unfortunately I have it since my birth, Will I get a Z type or will they deny me because I am a carrier? 1 Quote
mungouk Posted February 2, 2019 at 03:19 PM Report Posted February 2, 2019 at 03:19 PM Among other things, the health check form asks you if you have ever had "Viral Hepatitis" — tick the box yes or no. HBsAg is one of the tests they do on your blood sample as part of the health check, and on mine the doctor wrote "non-reactive". I don't know whether being a Hep B "carrier" means you can pass those two, but if so then you should be OK in terms of the Z-visa application at least. (Whether the questions or tests will be different when you get to China I can't say as I haven't got that far myself yet.) 1 Quote
New Members gwap0 Posted February 4, 2019 at 12:14 PM Author New Members Report Posted February 4, 2019 at 12:14 PM Thanks for the reply. Yes that’s another concern for mr. during the application of residence permit. Since it is mandatory to have a medical check once I arrive @ China. I had my medical check up last year at my home country. And as per my Doctor I am fit to work since my liver functions are normal. However my HBsAg is reactive. I hope other’s with the same situation as mine will share there experience. Quote
