Has Anyone Bought An iPhone From Taobao ?

Did it have the vpn in it like my old iPhone when I was in the United States ?

Are the iPhones in English ?

Don't know much about iPhones but can't you just install a vpn on it? Also won't all phones have a language setting ?

 

Never had an issue with chinese phones bought in China . In fact I like them as they are not locked and have two sim card slots . Not sure about the iPhone though. My GF bought one here and she had no VPN on it, uses Express VPN

I'd be wary about buying an iPhone on taobao.  Too many knockoffs/counterfeits.

Ditto. I buy on Taobao, but nothing expensive. Main problem is not getting just what you wanted, a demo or refurbished instead of new, a phone with a problem etc. Only if you have money to burn.

Are you looking to get one cheaper than the Apple Store? I'm perhaps wrong, but I don't think there are any significant bargains to be had. Amazon.cn has the 64GB Xs at 400Y cheaper than the Apple Store - so 5%, nothing to get excited about.

Your closest authorised Apple reseller, or if you really want to shop online, then directly from Apple.

 

Anything significantly cheaper than the Apple retail price will almost certainly be counterfeit.
