Middle name on visa form

Hi, just filled in my visa application form online and noticed at the top it says to use NONE or N/A in empty fields rather than leave blank. How does this apply if I don't have a middle name? I tried to type N/A but it won't let me so for now I've written NONE as my middle name but now it just looks like that is my middle name! The only other option is to leave this blank against the indications on the form. Anyone been in the same situation and have any advice one way or another?

Thanks!

I thought you have to print out the form and take it to a visa centre? Just write n/a by hand?

No, now you have to fill it in online only! At least in London that's the case.
