Please Clarify

Waited a long time to finally decide on a tattoo that represents who I am. What this should be is a Proverb for harmony and states, "When you talk through the snow, you can't hide your footprints." I've had it for 5 years, have asked two people, have had two different answers. Can I please get a definitive answer?

Walk through the snow lol not talk.

It simply means "harmonious" or "getting along" (rong2qia4), but has nothing to do with walking OR talking your way through the snow...

 

Looks to me like whoever inked it didn't know how to read or write Chinese, and copied it from a picture.

It is a verb. It means"friendly,solidarity".

Also it shows you are an easy person to get along with.Beside,it not very suit for tattoo.

Yeah that's what I get for going with the cheapest lol.  Okay so it says Harmonious? That's okay same message but I loved "when you walk through the snow you can't hide your footprints." Wherever you go you leave an impact somehow, I always try to make it a positive one. But same message.  Tyvm
