Sherlock Holmes and the case of the curly haired company

Dear All,

I am reading the "Mandarin Companion" book "Sherlock Holmes and the case og the curly haired company" (level 1). I really cannot make out the structure of a sentence, though. In this scene, Gao Ming (Sherlock Holmes) is makiong a deduction about his guest and says "你看你的左手, 上面有一些伤口, 经常用刀人才会有这样的伤口. 还有, 我去海南, 你手上的这个东西, 只有海南才有."

OK now, the red part is the one I am wrecking my brains on... how would you translate it? I reckon that the general meaning is that something that is on his hands reveals that he has been in Hainan, but I have no clue on the exact translation. What I really don't understand is the construction of 只有海南才有.

Any suggestions?

Thank you everybody!

Emanuele

Thank you Edelweis, awesome! I didn’t know that structure. Your explanation has been very helpful and very clear indeed!
