Hi, I'm looking for some information on the police agencies in China but I am not a Chinese national. If anyone has the contact number or a link to the public affairs/relations department of the police force in any province, it would be extremely helpful!

Do you read Chinese? Every police agency in China seems to have a website. Most take questions, often on Wechat.

Here's a criminal complaint hotline for Yunnan: Phone (0871)63992898. If calling from inside China, omit the first part. If the department you reach is not what you are looking for, ask and they will re-direct your call. Here is their public affairs website: ynshcebgs@163.com. The main thrust of it is to explain and promote the current 扫黑 cleanup campaign, but it contains plenty of general news and information. 

 

You will need to be able to speak and read Chinese to use these resources. If you explain more clearly what you are after and why, someone here might be able to help you more.
