ParkeNYU Posted April 17, 2019 at 08:52 PM Report Posted April 17, 2019 at 08:52 PM Taking inspiration from the Double Pinyin input method for Mandarin, I designed a Double Jyutping input method for Cantonese. Like Double Pinyin, it uses the [; :] key as the 27th key. Conflations are minimised, tones are optional, and the shift key acts as a null initial. GW and KW are used for the -u, -ui, and -un/t finals (i.e. all finals that contain nucleus [ u ], which excludes -ung/k). Quote
