Applying to CSC type A and B at the same time, a bad idea?

My target university told me not to try to apply to both scholarship types at the same time as it could be risky for my application. Does anyone know what the risks are? Did anyone who applied to both scholarship types, may be to same program and university, get the scholarship?

pretty bad yeah, they will cancel ur scholarship if they find out, and they probably will, i advise u to return one of ur accounts back to step 1

If you are using type A and B paths to apply for different courses/universities, then that is OK. Applying for the same course and university using type A and B applications is wasting your time as the university/department could receive two applications from you from which they are likely to cancel one of them.
