nanyangguy Posted September 3, 2005 at 10:24 AM Report Posted September 3, 2005 at 10:24 AM http://maps.google.com/ can help you. Try to search the keyword "Shenzhen, China". Quote
skylee Posted September 3, 2005 at 12:07 PM Report Posted September 3, 2005 at 12:07 PM Take a look at this link -> http://www.topwebdesignltd.com/china/shenzhen/sz.htm (click "w" to show all annotations; right click to zoom in/out) Try to search for "深圳地圖" and you may find more resources. Quote
pyjamas Posted September 6, 2005 at 01:51 AM Report Posted September 6, 2005 at 01:51 AM if you're thinking of shopping, try going to Luo Hu (a mall is located right outside the entry point from Hong Kong to Shen Zhen) Dong Men (a shopping district just a few minutes away from the Luo Hu Port... a cab will do fine) just note that most items sold in these malls and shops are just knock-offs of the real ones... so if you're opposed to such businesses, you better look for a different place 9or even country to go to ...hehe Quote

johnd Posted September 19, 2005 at 07:29 AM Report Posted September 19, 2005 at 07:29 AM Here's a good map, but only in Chinese: http://www.sz800.com/szmap/index.htm For more shopping I'd recommend Hua Qiang Lu - it has a metro station. If you want export clothes and shoes (including large sizes) there's a good market one building behind Starbucks. Quote
phbriggs Posted September 21, 2005 at 02:48 AM Report Posted September 21, 2005 at 02:48 AM If you are after a hardcopy map, go to a after arrival hotel and ask for one of theirs. Other maps are available from bookstores, but these are usually only in Chinese. Quote
