Outofin Posted September 3, 2005 at 01:44 PM Report Posted September 3, 2005 at 01:44 PM Do you prefer album or single song more than the other? Quote
skylee Posted September 3, 2005 at 01:58 PM Report Posted September 3, 2005 at 01:58 PM What do you mean? Which album? Which single? What other? Quote
Outofin Posted September 3, 2005 at 03:23 PM Author Report Posted September 3, 2005 at 03:23 PM Sorry I didn't make it clear. I mean, before the internet era and after classic era, we were used to buy albums, right? Now more and more people start using online services and downloads. Do you make your own collection CDs, put random songs in your music player, or you persist on listening a whole album. Put it simple, do you purchase single songs or buy albums? Is a whole album too long to fit your life? Does the form of album offer a unique experience that single songs couldn't offer? Kind of these questions. I'm curious how the habits people listen music change. Quote
Lu Posted September 4, 2005 at 02:19 PM Report Posted September 4, 2005 at 02:19 PM Depends. For good bands/singers, I buy the album, because that might contain more good songs. For one-hit-wonders, or songs that I like in a genre that I usually don't like, I just buy the song (but in China, I still buy the album, because it's dirt-cheap anyway and singles are nowhere to be found). gougou Posted September 5, 2005 at 02:27 AM Report Posted September 5, 2005 at 02:27 AM Album, but not for the whole experience, but to get to those songs with less/no air time on the radio. Quote
