LTL Mandarin School Taiwan (Taibei)

A quick note: In a rather rapid turn of events, after three years of COVID with zero students, LTL Taipei is now so popular that it is fully booked now. We dont accept any new students at the moment in Taipei. 

 

End of August has still some spots available but that might also change very soon.

 

All mainland China schools still have availability at the moment, though in Beijing and Shanghai it is starting to get tight as well.

On the website you also show Tainan as a possible location, however under "LTL School Locations" only Taipei is listed. I couldn't find any address of the office in Tainan, is it already established?

It also mentions Kaohsiung and Taichung (?)

Sorry for the late reply, that was a busy summer 2023, first time back open after 3 years of COVID break....

We run immersion programs in different locations in Taiwan, but our main school is in Taipei.

LTL Taiwan is super popular and quite famous for its amazing social community by now, so we just built a very beautiful school extension with 8 additional class rooms. I do not think anyone chooses a language school because of that, but personally I especially like the new schools toilet design 🤩

I cannot recommend LTL Taipei enough! I’ve come back twice to study group classes and each time I had such amazing teachers. They care about your learning and the course material is great. It’s not the kind of school that makes you memorize for a test and then you forget everything after! Additionally, if you’ve never been to Taipei before or you’re travelling alone (that was me before) — LTL has such a great community and I was able to feel at home in a new country because of them! 

If you have the opportunity to go — DO IT!!

Just a little review about LTL Taipei on this forum- I've been studying here for four months now and it has been such a great time, thanks to the amazing people who work here in particular (Riona, Greta, Marine, Alin, Ottavia, and the teachers are really nice as well, Ivory, Chiangmei, Jasmine, Alice...). So many activities are organised every week, which is of great help for socialising, and Taipei is an amazing city for exploration! I learnt some basic mandarin pretty fast and hope to keep improving. I recommend 100%.

LTL Taipei has been a wonderful experience! I arrived with little to no prior knowledge of Mandarin and left after two weeks feeling confident in having simple conversations. The group of advisors, teachers, and students is genuinely welcoming and kind. I highly recommend LTL to anyone seeking competent teachers and a fantastic community.

As we have three quite new Chinese Forums accounts on this thread commenting on LTL Taipei in a relatively short time and we live in in the times of Bots and AIs, I wanted to provide some quick feedback, just in case anyone was wondering if these are real people. They are! All three are very real Chinese language students (but not yet long term Chinese forums users).

 

Cathy 😄 Cathy studied with LTL in Taipei twice, once in 2023 for three months and then she came back to LTL Taipei in December 2024 for another one month program. She studied both times in small groups.

 

Lorine: Lorine is a current student at LTL Taipei studying 1on1 classes.

 

Sulalalala: Just finished an LTL Taipei program and was studying in a small group & individual program in Taipei.
