wmac Posted September 3, 2005 at 06:15 PM Report Posted September 3, 2005 at 06:15 PM Hello everyone, BLCU (Beijing Language and Culture University) has a distance online chinese education program at the http://www.eblcu.net address. They also have a Bachelor program. Does anyone have any experience with them? There are a lot of dead links and problems on their web site. So I am not sure if their actual course website has a good shape and if they have an orderly program. Would someone please give me some comment? Regards, Mac Quote
Celso Pin Posted September 14, 2005 at 01:43 AM Report Posted September 14, 2005 at 01:43 AM You are right, the site is not in a good shape (they performed a good job fixing some problems recently) but... still not acceptable. I promisse a new message in two months with more details regarding EBLCU. Quote
eliliang Posted September 23, 2005 at 01:20 AM Report Posted September 23, 2005 at 01:20 AM eblcu.net seems to be working better now. They are bad with email although they finally cleared out their email box of the spam that filled it when I complained that all emails were bouncing. They also answer their telephone in china, so if problems come up, you can call them and they will address them within about 36-48 hours. My wife is taking one of the intermediate level classes online at eblcu.net. Quote
roddy Posted May 25, 2015 at 08:34 AM Report Posted May 25, 2015 at 08:34 AM Might be worth a look, folks - BLCU do have a decent amount of resources and expertise. Quote
shuoshuo Posted May 25, 2015 at 04:59 PM Report Posted May 25, 2015 at 04:59 PM I contacted them last year and they never replied. 1 Quote

fabiothebest Posted January 5, 2017 at 04:59 PM Report Posted January 5, 2017 at 04:59 PM Any news about online classes? They are advertising this also these days so it must be a active project. There is a free trial class, I'll definitely try. Well the price is higher than some other 1 on 1 Chinese classes online, but it's from BLCU and I want to believe quality is better. I'll try. Any of you already tried? Quote
