Chinese plate character mark?

Hi guys, what does these marks say? 

It looks 19th Century but I'm no expert, the mark should tell all haha

Yes but remember not to place any faith in the mark. The same mark and therefore the same date can be used for 100 years or more or it a modern piece with a supposedly old mark.

 

This happens a lot, I am not saying yours is not old, but it was probably made last year :shock:

I rarely buy Asian antiques but I'm always interested. I don't know enough to invest alot but I'll buy a nice plate with an interesting mark haha

Well, it is hard for you to understand, but the true order is:

乾隆年制

(It is hard to explain, but sometimes when you read some old Chinese books or marks, the correct order is from right to left, which can be seen in  many Japanese books today)

 

The meaning is this plate was made during the Qing dynasty, and people in power at that time was called 乾隆, about 1700-1800 if it is true.

However, most of them are fake.
