Lu Posted July 14, 2019 at 08:55 PM Report Posted July 14, 2019 at 08:55 PM This is definitely not a regular character one could find in a dictionary. I'm pretty confident it's not regular Japanese either. I wonder if it has something to do with counting, like the 大写 number characters? Or perhaps it is some kind of logo, 贰产欠 or something like that? My other thought was whether this might be a curse character. I'm curious if anyone knows. Quote
Gharial Posted July 15, 2019 at 01:01 AM Report Posted July 15, 2019 at 01:01 AM Maybe it's a mangled 歓 (an old~Japanese variant of 歡 / 欢 huan1, the Japanese On reading would be KAN), which roughly means 'joyous'. 1 Quote
Publius Posted July 15, 2019 at 05:34 AM Report Posted July 15, 2019 at 05:34 AM Or maybe 徵 (征) 'expropriate(d)'. 1 Quote
