Ian_Lee Posted April 23, 2004 at 06:21 PM Report Posted April 23, 2004 at 06:21 PM How come the novels of 陳 若 曦 and 司 馬 中 原 are not on the list? Their writings had been very popular in Taiwan in the '80s. Quote
skylee Posted April 23, 2004 at 11:20 PM Author Report Posted April 23, 2004 at 11:20 PM Yeah, I like 陳若曦's 紙婚 a lot. I think the list shows the taste of Taiwan readers. And those who would vote are likely to be the younger generations. Quote
back Posted April 24, 2004 at 05:57 AM Report Posted April 24, 2004 at 05:57 AM The vote seems to be for Taiwanese only. If I could vote I would vote for 圍城 by 錢鍾書。 这些书都很棒,不过我建议大家读读这本书:《围城》,我读过十遍。 Quote
fenlan Posted August 7, 2005 at 11:17 PM Report Posted August 7, 2005 at 11:17 PM Can I reopen this thread? I wanted to comment that Harry Potter was the 2nd favourite book in the list!!!!!! All five classic novels are there. 紅樓夢 was 1st, 三國演義 was 10th, 西遊記 was 54th, 水滸傳 was 73rd and 金瓶梅 was 98th. Mainland China's 巴金's 家 was 100th, but no 茅盾and no 魯訊. Quote
