Enjune Zhang Posted August 4, 2019 at 08:04 AM Report Posted August 4, 2019 at 08:04 AM Can anyone translate sentences below and identify when BF & GF are supposed to say these to one another? 从今以后,你是你我是我 从今以后,你的就是我的,我的还是我的 从今以后,你不是你而我不是我 从今以后,我的就是你的,你的就是我的 Quote
889 Posted August 4, 2019 at 08:25 AM Report Posted August 4, 2019 at 08:25 AM They sound very colloquial English. From now on, you are you and I am me. From now on, yours is yours and mine is mine. From now on, you aren't you and I'm not me. From now on, mine is yours and yours is mine. The relationship has obviously changed and deepened in the last two sentences. Or maybe the first two sentences come later, after a breakup. Quote

889 Posted August 4, 2019 at 04:42 PM Report Posted August 4, 2019 at 04:42 PM Oh yeah. Make it: From now on, yours is mine, and mine is still mine. Quote
