Does this make sense?

if i want to say "although the gaokao and the international baccalaureate have a few similarities, the differences are more numerous"

 

what i have at the moment is "虽然高考和国际文凭有一些同的方面，但是差异比太多了."

I'd try something like  . . . 有一些相同的方面，但是不同的方面更多。
