"clear up suspicions" means "eliminate doubts"(消除疑虑) about chinese. I translated it from a website tool, and I've known it's not right now. 

 

I said "if you had any question" for the subjunctive mood like "If I were you", but you are right！

 

"I will appreciate" did not use subjunctive mood deliberately, because I am sure to do that. I think it is Ok too.

To "clear up suspicions" means "eliminate doubts" (消除疑虑) in Chinese. I translated it from a website tool, and I now know it's not right.

 

I said, "if you had any question" using the subjunctive mood, like "If I were you," but you are right: it's wrong here!

 

Writing "I will appreciate," I deliberately did not use the subjunctive mood, because I wasn't sure it is correct. I think it is.

 

Compare:

 

If you have any questions, I will answer them.

 

If you'd [have] had any questions, I would have answered them.

Because pronunciation from all over the China are different. 
Even if it's exactly the same to a Beijing local people. You are also a stranger in Shanghai like me.
You just need to speak the standard four tones well, according to a dictionary, then everything is all right.

This is an interesting one... I've been a teacher in various parts of Asia and I've always thought of "clearing a doubt" as being an old colonial English way of asking for someone to answer a question, or address a concern.

 

I first heard it from Indian students, in India and then Singapore and beyond, but maybe it's a fossilised piece of English that has persisted in the old Empire?
