Got bailed on my internship, can I switch to a new school with the same visa?

Hello,

 

Today I recieved the news that I wouldnt be allowed to join the internship I had planned to join because my visa only is for 90 days insteas of 180 (X2 visa), my plane leaves sunday morning which leads me to these questions: Is jt possivble for me to enroll in a different mandarin school while using the same visa and would it be possible to extend my X2 visa?
