Translation Needed for Tattoo

I'm looking to get a tattoo with traditional Mandarin characters that translates to (or similar to) 'Zombie' in English. I don't want to use translation tools and I want it to be relatively accurate. Can anyone help?

What kind of zombie?  The Western zombie from the movie Night of the Living Dead that is slow and rotting and eats your brains?  The post-apocalyptic zombie that can run fast and is actually under the influence of a brain disease?  The voodoo zombie under the control of the Haitian zombie master?  The Chinese Taoist zombie that's blind and can't detect you if you hold your breath?  Rob Zombie?

 

The Taoist kind of zombie is 殭屍 (simplified 僵尸), though I would question wanting to get that permanently on my skin.  To each his own, however.

Literally it's the 僵尸 or 僵屍. The walking dead. 

 

Are you really talking about getting a "Zombie" instead of a "Hello Ketty" or "Thank you" in Chinese as a Tattoo on your shoulder or arm? You are trying to scare people away?

I think it could be cool. Like something from dark music about zombies. Zombie metal, or something. Perhaps greater literature reading about Chinese zombies might help you.
