BLCU: Price to stay at Xi Jiao. 260/night

Recommended Posts

Hi, I was thinking of staying a the Xi Jiao, but the price is way more than what was suggested by some other posts.

They want 260 a night for a long term 3 month stay. Seems like way too much.

I am wondering if the prices have changed and that is more reflective of what it costs here today.

If not, how do you approach them to get it changed?

Thank you,

James MacLeod

Why not look at some of the hostels up north of BCLU near the Wudaokou train station? If I was staying long-term in a hotel, I wouldn't pay more than 120 RMB/night, and that's probably way too much if you're committing to stay for three months..

yep as tevelyan says there are cheap hostels with wich in my oppinion has better location (Wudaokou), I'm currently living in one of those, and I pay 150per night, but u can get waya with half of it if youre willing to live with hallway toilet. Thing is I'm probably only staying here a couple of nights so It doesn bother me that much with the higher price.

Of course its nowhere near Xi-jiao standardwise, havent seen their cheap rooms though, only 400somthing rooms. And as far As internet connection, I found a WiFi net that actually is pretty fast(the one I'm using right now.)

good luck..

I was having trouble finding a place to stay because I am only here for three months.

But I found a great place.

The hotel was nice, but way tooo expensive.
