Could someone please explain the structure in this Chinese sentence  今天就写到这儿吧?

The meaning given was "I will stop here today."

It's a very common somewhat cliched but polite way of ending a personal letter. (Though usually not posed as a question.) Translate it as you will!

The part that was confusing me a bit was that this is from a video that I use for listening practice.  But it is true the video does have subtitles, so the verb "write" would fit.  Thanks!
