But my advice is to call the university as soon as possible, from the 18th of January to the mid of February university offices are on winter break.

Hi! I completed CSC type A application. Do you know if the application status changes in SUBMITTED or IN PROGRESS? Does the application status mean anything?

@Steph1997Sometimes it changes and sometimes it doesn't, but it's nothing to worry about. Many people have got the scholarship with both statuses.

Hello Everyone! I am from the USA and applying for CSC Type A hoping to get a Master's Degree in China Studies. I was pre-admitted to Tsinghua University before the Spring Festival Holiday and now working on my application for CSC. Best of luck to everyone! :)

Hi all, I made a very long descriptive video on how to apply for this scholarship. Feel free to check it out here. I won't be following this forum this year for its too much, but feel free to as questions in the video linked or find me on insta. Good luck on your application process. You got this.

And if someone knows anything about summer scholarship programs in China, please let me know for it doesn't look like CSC offer any. Looking for a friend of mine.

Hello everyone,

I will try to apply for the scholarship to through the OAS however I have A question. I want to apply for the graduate program but I'm currently in my last year of my bachelor program and I got the message from my school that I can finish my program in august. I want to apply this year because I dont really want to wait until next year since I will grafuate in august 2020(most likely) Do you think I can still apply if I send proof that I will graduate in august 2020 in stead of my bachelor's degree

Thank you

i also want to apply under "category b' but not all universities have information about applying for the CSC scholarship. So should i mail those universities for more information? It's february which means that it's holiday season in China so i'm afraid it's too late.  Some universities say  that you only need to apply through the government site and some say to apply on both the government's site and also the school it's site. and alot of sites just don't have information at all (also i've noticed this topic is a little "quiet" this year i wonder why?)

It depends on your target university’s requirements. Most of the university in China accept the pre-graduation certificate but  the candidate is required to provide  the degree certificate before July, 31 or before graduation, depending on each univertisity.

I mean, before July 31, or before registration.

How strict are they with the notarized copies? Do I still need it notarized even if my certificates are in English or is it only necessary for translated documents? Because it's quite expensive (100$ lawyer), or do you have a tip where I can make it cheaper?

Thx

Question - can I apply for CSC through university only to one uni? Is it allowed to create, let's say, two CSC accounts and apply (send hard copies) to two different universities. Assuming they both nominate me and send my documents to CSC, what would happen? Is it even allowed?
