Need some help for unblocking wechat account.

A plea for help.

I made my wechat account about 2 weeks ago for exploring Chinese e-culture. Such as Plalying Chinese mobile games, Using apps, Signing up chinese websites.

But suddenly My account was blocked. I don't why this happened but I just guess it's because I signed in/out a lot. (Cause I both use ipad, mobile phone)

 

 

 

 

 

It says, I need to send a verification message via mobile number to person who
*signed up for wechat over 6months ago
*Hasn't exceeded the "help friend log in" limit

 

I'd really appreciate your help.

this really sucks... it happened to a friend who came to visit me in china and neither I nor three hotel staff were able to figure out how to unlock it.

maybe the process they ask you to perform will work, but maybe it won't... the whole thing seems incredibly arbitrary.

Also, the person doing the un-blocking must also have not been blocked themselves in the last 12 months.

 

I tried earlier today but this specific regulation ruled me out.

Thanks for replying. My friend helped me solve the problem.

I don't know why but it seems only chinese number can solve the problem.

You can request the unblocking yourself at the WeChat help centre:

Personally I'm not able to unblock anyone because I get this message "you cannot help friend log in because your account has been suspended in the past year. Instruct them to contact another user for help logging in".
