Difference between YiGuan(衣冠) and Fushi(服饰)

Recommended Posts

The Fushi (clothes) in the history of the Centralland varies through the time---and is somehow influenced by nomadic tribes. But before Manchu Qing, although the FuShi varies, the Style and Trend of the Centralish clothes is all the same! the common view of Centralish clothes, or the spirit of Centralish which presented is called YiGuan.

Fushi will change all the time , but the YiGuan must revive !!!!

faint... yiguan stands for the whole chinese culture(or an important part of the chinese culture, the spirit of the whole chinese culture) while fushi means clothings or fashion trends only.

"Yiguan" is still used as in "衣冠楚楚" or "衣冠禽獸". 8)

when u dont commonly use it doesnt mean the context changed. please understand what is the '本义' and the '延伸义' of words and terms. anyway u cant always derive the full meaning from splitting up the words. 'ren' is human and 'zhong' is middle, but 'renzhong' is not 'the human in the middle'. :D:D
