This is it: 它的设计方案，是经全球设计竞赛产生的“水的立方”([H2O]3)方案。I have looked it up and I cannot find any meaning that fits the sentence. Jim Posted April 12, 2020 at 03:24 AM Report Share Posted April 12, 2020 at 03:24 AM It's in the sense of "to pass through", so here in context to have "undergone" a competitive process or more simply, "via" - translating over-literally, its design is one produced through a worldwide competition. More fluidly, "the design is that for the Water Cube, the winner of an international design competition."
