New Chinese–English Translation and Interpreting MA starting at Liverpool University Sept 2020

This is more of an announcement than anything else, but it would be good to see what others think of the course.

Here is a link: https://www.liverpool.ac.uk/study/postgraduate-taught/taught/chinese-english-translation-and-interpreting-ma/overview/

My thoughts:

  • Good that a part-time option is available (possibly the only UK uni to offer this?)
  • Small faculty
  • New courses are a great opportunity to get feet placed in doors, but can be a bit haphazard regarding admin, organisation, management, etc.

Thanks

Heriot Watt and Stirling in Scotland offer part-time options.

I'm interested to see Liverpool listing HSK5 as showing the necessary proficiency.
