murrayjames Posted May 10, 2020 at 09:32 AM Report Posted May 10, 2020 at 09:32 AM Dear forum friends, like many of you, these days I am home most of the time. Using a three-octave Yahama keyboard in my bedroom, I wrote a new piece of music. The piece is called “Quarantine.” As with life, the music moves from major to minor, and back again, and back again, and back again. I hope you like it. The painting in the video is by my daughter Melody. https://youtu.be/gR1J5YrI9wA 2 Quote

Balthazar Posted May 10, 2020 at 07:20 PM Report Posted May 10, 2020 at 07:20 PM Very nice indeed, I've given it a few spins today. Not really sure why, but I got connotations to some of the works of the Japanese “Wave Notation” series. Thanks for sharing! Hope to hear more, 3 minutes is hardly enough to get through a quarantine that still seems quite a distance away from its end ? Quote
imron Posted May 11, 2020 at 06:33 AM Report Posted May 11, 2020 at 06:33 AM Reminds me a lot of the music from Phantasy Star II on the Sega Megadrive/Genesis. Quote
