12Elisa Posted May 12, 2020 at 04:40 PM Report Share Posted May 12, 2020 at 04:40 PM Hi! I’m studying business Chinese, how can I say SELL TO SOMEONE? For example China sells to Europe. Can I use 卖给? Thanks
abcdefg Posted May 14, 2020 at 12:04 PM Report Share Posted May 14, 2020 at 12:04 PM I think international commerce would need slightly more formal language. 中国向法国出售筷子。(China sells chopsticks to France.) Edited to add: I could be mistaken. Just found an example sentence in Pleco that makes me think twice: 把余粮卖给国家。(Sell surplus grain to the state.)
889 Posted May 14, 2020 at 12:16 PM Report Share Posted May 14, 2020 at 12:16 PM Agree that if we're talking foreign trade, 出售 or something like it is what the OP wants. That 出 nicely echoes the 出 in 出口.
