josdan Posted June 21, 2020 at 11:33 PM Report Posted June 21, 2020 at 11:33 PM Hello everyone This is my first post so I hope I'm following all the rules. The word 不必 is pronounced as "bù bì" according to Wiktionary, but in Forvo the two audios from natives sound like "bú bì to me". What is the proper pronunciation? I still don't get Mandarin pronunciation completely, so I might be wrong and people in Forvo actually say "bù bì" https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/不必 https://zh.forvo.com/word/不必/#zh Thank you in advance 1 1 Quote

It's also impressive that you caught the tone change by listening on your own. Future questions from you are welcome. 1 Quote
